The whole team at the hotel were supper friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Well done. Kelvin Hotel is located in the city center, only a short walk to major attractions and a minute drive to the Invercargill Airport. Rooms were clean and well stocked with towels.

Great place to stay before heading to Stewart Island. Everything was perfect! So comfortable! Staff were lovely. It offers elegant rooms with lake and garden views. Very convenient location to the small city center. Invercargill is 19 miles from the hotel. The Dinner meals were fantastic. Hats off to the chefs the Blue Cod espically was cooked perfect. Super friendly staff, everything was clean and tidy, we had a verry good stay here! Te Anau , Invercargill , and Bluff are popular with other travelers visiting Southland. Everything was great.
Bed was especially comfy. Breakfast was huge and well done. Love staying here this isn't my first stay. As usual amazing. Large space for family, friendly staff, cleanliness, strategic location, amenities.

The setting was stunning and food was amazing! Such great staff. A perfect place to spend our anniversary. Location of the motel was perfect for my needs. The room was very warm, spacious and clean. Love the layout and vibe of the motel as well. The bed was comforatable. The owner also went above and beyond by dropping me to the airport. Everything looked clean and there where enough kitchen facilities and even a great grill. Great location, adjoins wonderful park, friendly, spacious, clean, excellent shower, fast WiFi, comfortable.
Everything is very clean including public area like toilet and kitchen. Highly recommended. Everything you could wish for in a holiday stay exceptional hosts, beautiful cottage and wonderful breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming. Fully equipped kitchen is great! Our family loved this motel. Really nice place with a good location for our Doubtful Sound cruise.

Really recommend. Owners provided us with an extra cooker and steamer for dinner prep. Very big room with comfortable beds.
Friendly owners. Walk to the main centre. Quiet location and a very spacious two bedroom unit. We enjoyed the free sauna one hour for free and the room was very comfortable. We had a small apartment so it was very spacious and comfortable. The location was right on the lake and it was an easy walk into town. As a tea drinker I liked that fresh milk was provided! Such great value, we stayed in a caravan there , it's rustic but everything is clean and functional big shared area and kitchen area. It's centrally located between beaches and shops, we walked most the time no issues.
Wifi comes as free. The most comfortable appartment we have ever been to. Clean, with heating facilities including gas fireplace, kitchen exceeded our expectation: boiled filtered water from the faucet, Ironing board; heated bathroom floor We higly recommend!
